Zane Sheldrake: A Life That Touched Ours
In memory of our friend & member of Space for Men, Zane Sheldrake, who sadly took his own life at the end of 2025.
In Gratitude for Zane’s Life and the Family’s Kindness
We would like to thank his family and all those generous people who donated money at his recent funeral. This kind gesture means that Space for Men can afford to continue and grow its work with men in our community to help improve their mental wellbeing.
It is notoriously difficult to encourage men to cross the threshold and join a group like ours. Yet we know there are many men out there who can certainly benefit from becoming part of our community
To combat this, we will be able to increase our profile and reach more men by improved marketing and media presence
In addition, we will be able to further develop our website including endorsements and quotes from actual members and invest in resources like booklets dealing with issues and challenges relevant to men.
Our aim remains the same. “To create a safe, comfortable and supportive space where men can talk openly about their mental fitness, learn from each other and build emotional resilience “
If you know of someone who you feel might be in need of a safe place to talk – please recommend Space for Men and contact us through the website www.spaceformen.org
